The Battle Line Is Drawn As Wilder Sends Fresh Message To Fury

Deontay Wilder the Dethroned WBC champion, has declared that “the war has just begun” and has vowed to become a world champion again.

The American lost to Tyson Fury last weekend in a seventh round stoppage in Las Vegas. Wilder has since blamed the weight of his ring-walk costume, for his first ever defeat.

Although there were reports he could sack trainer Mark Breland for throwing in the towel, Wilder has since admitted that his corner had his best interests at heart.

He is expected to take up his option for a third fight with Fury, and in a video posted on social media, he promised to rise “like a phoenix from the ashes”.

“Your king is in great spirits. We will rise like a phoenix from the ashes and regain the title. I’ll see you in a few months, for the war has just begun. All my love to all my people,” Wilder said.

The Two heavyweight boxers who are known to be the best in the world entered the ring in the early hours of Sunday after many months of word battle.

Wilder particularly had issued knockout threats to Fury. He also called Anthony Joshua a scary baby who doesn’t want to fight him and many called him a loud mouth for his comments. And, his mouth got some deserving hits from Fury.

The first Deontay between the two strong boxers contest ended a split draw back in December 2018.

By winning Wilder, Fury now holds the WBC belt, The Ring, and lineal heavyweight titles. Fury will now go for third match with Wilder which is an option in their match contract or go ahead to battle Anthony Joshua for a unified title contest.
