- Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (South-South), Archbishop Israel Eniyekemini, and his South-East counterpart, Bishop Goddy Okafor have asked President Muhammadu Buhari to replace Service Chiefs.

- The Federal Government on Monday vowed to deal with any foreign airline that violated coronavirus screening procedures for passengers arriving in the country.
The Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, was said to have given the warning in Abuja at the inter-ministerial meeting on coronavirus, noting that the said airlines that failed to distribute contact tracing forms to their passengers upon arrival at any of the international airports in the country would be sanctioned.

- President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the killing of fifty people in Kerawa village, Kaduna State.
Buhari in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said it was obvious that the bandits were unleashing their fury and frustration on innocent people because of the ongoing military and police offensive against them in the Birnin Gwari and Kaduru forests.

- The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) has threatened strike over delay in the payment of their new minimum wage.

- The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, on Monday, arraigned an oil marketer, Ngozi Okoye, before the Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja for alleged N349m fraud.
Okoye was charged alongside her company, Menoil Oil and Gas Limited, on two counts of obtaining goods by false pretences and stealing.
