The court presided by Justice Danlami Senchi delivered the judgment on Wednesday.

Justice Senchi also asked Oshiomhole to step down as APC chairman pending the outcome of a suit seeking his removal from office.

The FCT High Court had previously refused to grant an ex-parte application filed by the All Progressive Congress north-east national vice chairman, Mustapha Salihu, former Edo State chairman of the APC, Anselm Ojezua, among others, seeking Oshiomhole’s removal from office.

The All Progressive Congress members filed the application after the Governor Godwin Obaseki-led faction of the APC in Edo State announced Oshiomhole’s suspension from the party in the state.

But Justice Senchi had refused to grant the request on the grounds that Oshiomhole and other defendants in the suit were not put on notice before the motion was heard.
