Gov. Uzodinma Approves Appointment Of Justice Agugua As Chief Judge

The Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, has approved the appointment of Justice Ijeoma Agugua as the new Acting Chief Judge of the state following the retirement of Justice Pascal Nnadi, the immediate past.

Justice Agugua, a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and National Association of Women Judges of Nigeria (NASWJN), according to report, was called to bar in 1993 and had formerly served as the Chief Magistrate.

She is married with three children.

Agugua was swear in today Friday, March 13, 2020, at Sam Mbakwe Exco Chambers, Imo state government house.

Gov. Uzodinma described her as a workaholic, expressing optimism that she will bring in her wealth of knowledge in restoring the glory of the judicial system.
