I’ve Recovered From Coronavirus – Hodson-Odoi (Video)

Chelsea winger, Callum Hudson-Odoi, has released a video saying he had recovered from coronavirus.

The 19-year-old released the video on Friday hours after the club confirmed he tested positive for the virus.

The Englishman said in a 13-second video posted on Twitter that he was following health guidelines and had self-isolated for the week.

“Hi guys, as you may be aware, I had the virus for the last couple of days which I’ve recovered from,” Hodson-Odoi said.

“I’m following the health guidelines and self-isolated myself from everybody for the week. I hope to see everyone soon and hopefully be back on the pitch very soon.”

Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi is the latest Premier League player to be diagnosed with COVID-19.

Hudson-Odoi had reportedly developed symptoms on Monday and was not seen on the training ground since then.

All Chelsea personnel who had recent close contact with Hudson-Odoi will now self-isolate to be in accordance with the Government and Public Health Guidelines.

This means all of the men’s first-team squad, coaching staff, and multiple personnel will have to adhere to the self-isolation guidelines.

Next steps regarding upcoming fixtures with the Premier League are still developing. There is an emergency meeting with club leaders slated for tomorrow morning after multiple players and staff had tested positive, including Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
