Gov Uzodinma Urges Civil Servants Above 45 years To Work From Home

The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma as part of precautionary measures to prevent the entry and spread of Covid-19 in Imo state has urge workers to stay at home. 
The number one citizen of the state ordered that Imo civil servants aged 45 years and above are now to work from home while all night life and entertainment hubs will cease operations from today.

Gov Uzodinma while addressing a press conference said, “we will continue to update us as to the precautionary measures as we find it necessary to do so.” He said, Imo is safe and in the hands of God.

Gov Uzodinma, the Taskforce his government set up, a crack team of medical professionals and experts are working 24/7 to ensure that Imo state is safe for the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the world.
For emergency, government has set up isolation centers and necessary precautionary measures have been put in place.
Professor Maurice Iwu has called on the people of the Imo state to disregard the rumour that corona virus has reached the state.
Speaking to newsmen in Owerri the state capital, Iwu who is the chairman Coronavirus Prevention and Control Committee set up by Imo State government to prevent, manage and respond to cases of the pandemic in the State, emphasized that there is no outbreak of coronavirus pandemic in Imo State.

Prof Iwu said the committee has been working proactively since it was inaugurated by the State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma and has done a lot to educate and inform the people of the State in a bid to prevent the killer virus.
