Nzuko Ora Nnewi Denies Publication Attacking Anambra State Govt

The Nnewi apex town union body known as Nzuko Ora Nnewi through its President General, Sir Ugochukwu Udemezue has come out to refute a Press Release signed by Sir Augustine Ike, its Publicity Secretary attacking the State Government and calling the Information Commissioner a disgrace.

Sir Augustine Ikeh in the said publication described the Anambra State Commissioner of Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr. C. Don Adinuba as incompetent and described his recent release titled “ANAMBRA COVID-19 Account: A Clarification” as gibberish.

In his long epistle, Augustine Ike condemned the state’s government response in addressing the Covid-19 disease, made many statements which are not factual, and called for the resignation of the Commissioner.

Reacting to the development, the President General of Nzuko Ora Nnewi has come out plainly to denounce the said publication by stating that the town union body never at any point in time sit to deliberate on the Press Release by the Anambra State Commissioner of Information, nor ever authorize anyone to issue or release a statement on behalf of Nzuko Ora Nnewi and therefore Nzuko Orah Nnewi denounces every content of the said publication entirely.
