The Coordinator of Kano Taskforce on coronavirus, Dr Tijjani Hussain, disclosed that three coronavirus patients disappeared from their respective houses and have been unreachable.
According to him, the patients have switched off their phones with their homes deserted. He said that they must have relocated elsewhere, declaring the Task Force was in search of them.
Hussain said: “We are collaborating with security agents to track them and bring them to the isolation centre.”

However, Kano State Government has confirmed two new coronavirus-related deaths in the state, taking the death toll to three.
The Health Ministry Revealed this on their verified Twitter handle on Monday.
The incident brings the number of COVID-19-related deaths in the state to three, with 77 total confirmed cases.
“As at 12:15 pm, 27th, April 2020, Kano State has recorded an additional 2 deaths of COVID-19.” according to the ministry.
However, The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) yesterday, April 26, confirmed Nigeria recorded another 91 new cases of Covid-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus and five deaths in fifteen states and Abuja, the country capital, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 1273 and 40 deaths.

This was revealed through the twitter account of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Sunday night.
The reported new cases are spread across Lagos, Sokoto, Taraba, Kaduna, Gombe, Ondo, Osun, Kebbi, Edo, Oyo, Ebonyi, Bayelsa, Akwa-Ibom, Rivers and Bauchi states as well as Abuja, the country capital.
The centre also said that five person deaths from Coronavirus-related complications in the country, making the number of fatalities rise to 40.
