Just In: Trump Promise Nigeria Ventilators As He Phones Buhari

United States President, Donald Trump has promised to donate ventilators to Nigeria in order to help the country fight the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, disclosed this during the ongoing presidential taskforce on COVID-19.

According to Mohammed, President Muhammadu Buhari during a telephone conversation with Trump, at the request of the American president, briefed him on Nigeria’s response to the disease.

“On his part, President Trump assured that the United States stands in solidarity with Nigeria in this difficult time. He promised to send ventilators to support the country in fight against the pandemic.”
