Fans Blast Chelsea Player Hudson-Odoi, Calls For His Ban

Fans and football stakeholders have lambasted Chelsea player Callum Hudson-Odoifor bringing the game to disrepute as the notch further for him to be banned when the season resumes

Football journalist Piers Morgan is obviously bittered about the action of the Chelsea player and has urged the FA to proscribe him.

He wrote on Twitter: “These idiots unfairly tarnish the reputations of all footballers, and make a mockery of the ‘safety first’ plan to bring back the Premier League.

“They should be told if they get caught breaking lockdown rules like this, they’re banned from playing if football restarts.” Another Twitter user agreed, writing: “Who does he think he is? And I’m a Chelsea fan!”

While a third pointed out that players who break the lockdown rules are undoing positive work done by their peers during the pandemic.

“Some people undo the good work that people like Kane and Henderson have done during these times,” he wrote.

Calum Hudson-Odoi was arrested for breaking the coronavirus strict guidelines at about 4am on Sunday, May 17, following a row with a model he allegedly met online.

The England international, Hudson-Odoi, was subsequently apprehended and taken into police custody, with police saying a report came in the woman was unwell.

Recall that he was the first Premier League star to test positive for coronavirus and now the club manager said the 19-year-old has fully recovered.

Meanwhile, Premier League clubs are reportedly trying to persuade players to restart the new season despite thousands of deaths being recorded during the global pandemic.
