Victor Osimhen Voted Lille’s Best Player Of The Year

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen’s morale to continue playing at the highest level of his game has been boosted after being voted as Lille’s best player for the year of 2020.

This is a remarkable and great achievement for the Super Eagles forward who has emerged as a target for many clubs in the Premier League.

After the French Lique 1 was concluded in which Paris-Saint-Germain were crowned champions, Lille took to their social media page to announce the name of Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen joined Lille from Belgian side Charleroi as replacement for Nicolas Pepe who moved to Premier League side Arsenal.

Fans initially thought that the Nigerian might not be able to replace Pepe, but the Super Eagles striker has made Lille fans to forget about the Ivorian star.

Scoring goals has been an easy one for Victor Osimhen since he joined Lille netting 18 in 31 games for the side.

Meanwhile, clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United and Napoli have shown their interest in signing Victor Osimhen when the transfer window opens.

Lille are also aware of the clubs who want their man this summer and they have slapped massive sum of £72 million asking fee. Lille president Gerard Lopez has also confirmed that many clubs have brought offers to sign Victor Osimhen.

Victor’s father played an important role in his football career as he helped him on his way to the zenith of his career.

Fans thought Victor Osimhen would not be able to prove himself when Lille bought him, but he has been a blessing to them ever since he teamed up.

His performances has also made many clubs in Europe showing interest for Victor Osimhen with Manchester United and Chelsea said to be among these sides.
