Edo 2020: Obaseki’s Campaign Group Director, Board Members Resign

The Director of Governor Obaseki/Shaibu campaign group, Patrick Iyoha, working for his reelection in office has resigned ahead of the September 19 governorship election in Edo state.

Iyoha in a letter forwarded to the Governor, Godwin Obaseki also announced his resignation as a member of the State Waste Management Board.

According to him, the reason behind his resignation is due to personal reason, he added that it is with immediate effect.

Also, Gabriel Oiboh, Chairman, State Post Primary Education Board, and a board member, Osanyemwere Osawe, have tendered their letters of exit.

The duo noted that they tendered their resignation due to pressure to defect to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Anaedoonline.ng had earlier reported on Monday that three commissioners of the State Oil and Gas Producing Area Development Commission resigned.

They are Osamwonyi Atu, Emmanuel Odigie and Rilwanu Oshiomhole.

Each represented Edo South, Central and North senatorial districts in the commission.
