Liverpool Coach, On 3-man Shortlist For UEFA Coach Of The Year Award

Jurgen Klopp has been shortlisted among the three coaches who will fight for the UEFA manager of the year award.

The German professional tactician helped Liverpool to win the Premier League title for the 2019/20 season after 30 years that they have waited.

Last two seasons, Liverpool also fought for the Premier League title, but the Reds lost the crown to rivals Manchester City on the last day of the season.

However, Jurgen Klopp and his men did themselves lots of good as they won the UEFA Champions League beating fellow Premier League side Tottenham in the final.

Jurgen Klopp will now go into competition for the prestigious award alongside Bayern Munich’s boss Hansi Flick and RB Leipzig’s Julian Nagelsmann.

Hansi Flick and his wards were in incredible form last season in Germany winning the Bundesliga and also the Champions League.

They recorded big win over Barcelona in the Champions League quarterfinal before beating Lyon in the semifinal and also Paris-Saint-Germain in the final.

Meanwhile, 80 coaches of the clubs which participated in the group stages of the 2019/20 Champions League and Europa League selected the final three shortlist.
