EndSARS protesters are currently trying to drag top Nigerian pastors to support the demand for the abolishment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.
The EndSARS campaign was renewed after some SARS operatives allegedly shot a young man during an arrest in Ugheli, Delta State.
This sparked a series of protests across the nation despite the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Adamu Mohammed, placing restrictions on SARS in response to the demands from Nigerians.

The campaign has now gained global attention with foreign celebrities speaking against police brutality in Nigeria.
However, the silence of pastors in the country concerning the issue has not gone unnoticed.
Music producer, Samklef took to Twitter saying:
“Where are all the pastors.. Tunde Bakere and ko?”
A look at the Twitter handle of Pastor E.A Adeboye and Bishop David Oyedepo shows that they have been getting tagged to the EndSARS campaign.

Tweets which the clergymen made which have no correlation with police brutality have been met with responses demanding they speak up against it.
