Ahmed Musa, Iheanacho Arrive For Super Eagles’ Big Game

Ahmed Musa who is the Super Eagles captain has arrived Nigeria for the country’s coming AFCON 2021 qualifying game against Sierra Leone which will be played in Benin.

The former Leicester City striker was recently released at Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr where he won the League title before he departed.

Musa has been linked with many clubs ahead of the January transfer window and the 28-year-old is expected to announce his new club.

Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho has also arrived the Super Eagles camp ahead of the Friday game against Sierra Leone.

Iheanacho has been superb for Leicester City this season in all competitions and Nigerians will be expecting good outing from him against their opponents.

According to a statement released by Super Eagles, goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, Etebo and Paul Onuachu are the other players who have arrived camp.

Paul Onuachu has gotten another chance to redeem himself after his poor game against Algeria in the friendly encounter.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles are currently topping Group L with six points after two games, while Sierra Leone are occupying fourth position with 1 point.

Nigeria finished as third best at the last African Cup of Nations in Egypt beating Tunisia after losing the semifinal game against Algeria.
