Mourinho Buys Tottenham Player Gift After Winning Man City

Jose Mourinho who is in charge of Premier League side Tottenham has bought one of his players Sergio Reguilon a whole leg of ham after their Premier League win over Manchester City.

Tottenham recorded an emphatic 2-0 win over Manchester City in which Son and Giovani Lo Celso netted the two goals for Spurs in the tough Premier League encounter.

According to the report on Daily Star, Jose Mourinho had promised Sergio Reguilon that he would buy him a leg of ham if he should impress against Manchester City.

Luckily for the 23-year-old Spanish defender, he was superb for Tottenham in the encounter as he prevented the likes of Gabriel Jesus, De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling from scoring.

Jose Mourinho explained that the leg of the ham costed him £500 which is around N253,000, but has no regret because he made the promise.

“For me, I prefer the players to speak because they are the ones, they were fantastic, they gave everything.

“City is a fantastic team that lost against a team that strategically was very good but City is still City.”

Sergio Reguilon joined Tottenham from Real Madrid before the start of the ongoing Premier League season and has played five games so far for Spurs.
