The Nigeria U20 side crashed out of the competition at the group stage after they failed to win a single game in two matches.

While speaking to 95.1 FM Radio in Abuja, Amoo said they are still working on the scoring ability of the team and how not to commit unnecessary fouls.

“The good thing is that we started on a good note by scoring six past our opponent. That does not means that we have arrived now but they’d thing is that we are scoring and have to work more on all other aspects of the game. I am hay that we saw them putting the ball into the net. But that’s not to say that we are perfect, we have a lot to do.

“Sincerely speaking, we have to work on our goal scoring ability. We have to take chances, ifyou play well but not scoring that’s the problem of the U20. If not, this moment, they would have been on top of the their group table because they played well and created chances.

“We need to educate our players not to commit unnecessary foul in a dangerous position. We must take our chances and score as many goals as possible so that our team can beat the driver’s seat,” he said.

Golden Eaglets last Saturday humiliated PFA Academy, Abuja 6-1 in a friendly match at their training ground, FIFA Goal Project, Package B.
