The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, Chief Basil Ejidike says, the Party has become the beautiful bride in the State. This, he says is the reason, while the chieftains of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and others are joining them.

 

The Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has accused Governor Hope Uzodinma and his predecessor, Rochas Okorocha, of turning the state into a terror, theatre of war and conflict zone. PDP, in a statement by its State’s Publicity Secretary, Ogubundu Nwadike, on Monday, alleged that the actions of Uzodinma and Okorocha were causing anxiety and tension in Imo.

 

Anambra state government through the Office of the Secretary to the State Government today embarked on COVID-19 enforcement exercise within Nnewi and environs. Forty-four defaulters were apprehended and were charged to mobile court in the local government council.

 

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) says all is now set for the training of indigent Niger Delta youths on technical skills at Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company. This is contained in a statement issued by the commission’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr Ibitoye Abosede, and made available to newsmen on Sunday in Port Harcourt.

 

A former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, says his successor, Governor Hope Uzodinma, may not end well as governor of the state. Addressing his supporters at Spibat mansion in Owerri, the state capital, Okorocha, who now represents Imo West at the Senate, said that Uzodinma had left governance and “is now pursuing shadows”.
