Multichoice has resumed showing highlights from BBNaija season 5 tagged The Lockdown will start airing from Monday, March 1 till Friday, March 26, 2021, on Africa Magic Urban and Africa Magic Family at 10 pm.

Viewers and the audience of the BBNaija reality TV show will have another opportunity to relive some of the best moments of the Lockdown edition.

MultiChoice Nigeria is bringing back the experience six months after the epic grand finale which saw Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshebioba emerge as the winner.

Multichoice Nigeria React on DSTV, GOTV Being Hacked

The highlights episodes will also get fans primed and excited for the upcoming Reunion show of the season.

Viewers of the reality TV show will enjoy up to 40 episodes, containing favourite and most memorable moments from the Lockdown edition.

BBNaija continues to be a TV phenomenon in Nigeria and across Africa. The Lockdown edition set the record for the number of votes cast with 900 million votes recorded during the show and over 60 billion impressions on digital. The edition also broke the Showmax live-streaming record, becoming the most-watched live entertainment content ever on the streaming service.

However, MultiChoice Nigeria has announced a price slash on its DStv and GOtv decoders from Monday, February 1, 2021.

Prices On DStv, GOtv Decoders Slashed By Multichoice

The price slash will see the DStv HD decoder, dish kit with Compact package subscription drop from N18,600 to N9,900 on Confam package, while GOtv decoder, GOtennae with GOtv Jolli package subscription will go from N8,400 to N6,900.

Speaking at a virtual media briefing on Friday, Chief Customer Officer, MultiChoice Nigeria, Martin Mabutho, explained the price slash is part of MultiChoice’s long line of efforts to lessen the economic impact of COVID on customers and a reflection of its commitment to making quality entertainment more accessible to Nigerians.

“With this discount, we are lowering the entry barrier for new customers to get a DStv or GOtv decoder as staying connected to credible information and other quality programming can be comforting for many families during these trying times,” said Mabutho.
