Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State Governor on Tuesday, presented brand new cars to 13 outstanding teachers in the state.
The governor made the presentation at the Lagos State Teachers Merit Award 2020, held in the Alausa area of the state.

Sanwo-Olu, while appreciating all teachers in the state, said never again would the rewards of teachers be in heaven.
At the event alongside the governor include Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat; Commissioner for Education, Folashade Adefisayo; Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Abosede Adelaja; amongst others.

Nyesom Wike, Rivers State Governor has sacked the state Commissioner for Environment, Igbiks Tamuno.
The governor directed the sacked commissioner to submit all government documents and properties in his possession to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Environment.
The commissioner’s sack was contained in a statement issued by the special assistant to the governor on media, Kelvin Ebiri, on Tuesday and made available to ANAEDOONLINE
Although no reason was given for Tamuno’s sacking, our correspondent learned that the commissioner, who was presiding over a media conference on soot and air quality in the state, rushed out of the briefing and asked his Permanent Secretary to hold the fort.
