Anambra State is gearing up for their governorship election coming up in November 2021, but the wind of uncertainty has started to blow, questioning the security challenge the state government has faced from unknown gunmen, which is now a regional issue in the zone.
Number of events have happened in Anambra evirons which has questioned the security of lives ahead of the November election.

However, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu speaking during his radio live broadcast on 22nd of April, 2021, has warned that there will be no campaigns or elections in Anambra State, unless the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma is removed as Governor and fresh election conducted in Imo State.
There will be no Campaign in Anambra, not to talk of Election. If they want election to hold in Anambra, they should remove Hope Uzodinma in Imo State and call for a fresh election.

The unknown gunmen has not been unmasked, and most Nigerians in the southeastern part of Nigeria are living in fear of uncertainty due to the security challenge in the zone.
