Singer Baba Dee has debunked reports his younger brother Sound Sultan has throat cancer.
Nigerian veteran and multiple award-winning dancehall artiste and songwriter, Dare Fasasi, popularly known as Baba Dee, has refuted reports his younger brother, Olanrewaju a.k.a Sound Sultan, has cancer.
On Wednesday, May 12th, news had circulated that the 44-year-old Sound Sultan was diagnosed with throat cancer and currently undergoing chemotherapy in the US.

However, Baba Dee has expressed surprise at the news making rounds on social media while confirming the ‘Jagbajantis’ singer is ill but does not have cancer.
Baba Dee said: “He is sick and he is getting better in New York. But throat cancer. Na lie.”
He did not disclose the illness the younger brother is suffering from.
Meanwhile, the veteran singer, Sound Sultan made a post on his Instagram page this morning to mark the end of the Ramadan fast.The caption of the post seemingly acted to also debunk the rumour about his illness.
