Former Justice of Appeal Court of Nigeria, Justice Eugene Chukwuemeka Ubaezonu has died. Anaedoonline.ng gathered that the Nnewi-born Legal Icon died last night 21st May, 2021, in an undisclosed location.
Hon. Justice E.C Ubaezonu (J.C.A Emeritus) who also a recipient of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) is aged 90.
The legal Icon who is a graduate of the University of Bristol, England, was at a time a legal adviser to a former president of Nigeria, His Excellency, Dr. Nwafor Orizu.
Agba Nnewi as he popularly called in Nnewi was also the pioneer Chancellor of Nnewi Anglican Diocese.
Justice Ubezeonu who hails from Okpuno Nnewichi, Nnewi, was supposed to have celebrated his 60 years of Marriage with his wife this year.
