Ojukwu’s Home Town, Nnewi Observes Sit At Home Order (Video+Photos)

There’s total compliance of the sit-at-home order in Nnewi, as our correspondence went round some strategic places in the city to report the compliance of the sit-at-home order issued by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

Our correspondence drove through popular old Onitsha road and revealed there is a 100% compliance of the order.

Some suspected members of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB were said to have gone round during the early hours of the day to enforce the order in some parts of the city.

Sit-At-Home Order: Tension As IPOB, Police Set For Showdown

The order which is to pay respect to Igbos who were killed during the civil war and those who died through Nigerian government brutal force is to be observed all over the south east.

Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu is the leader of the Biafra Republic, who lead the Easterners to fight the Nigerian Government and British, including other Nigerian allies in a three years war to the lives of estimated three million Igbos. He is from Umudim, in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
