Former presidential candidate and convener of the #RevolutionNowMovement, Omoyele Sowore, has reiterated that he was shot by a police officer during a rally at Unity Fountain in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Monday. Sowore’s narrative contradicts the report of the Police Command in the Federal Capital Territory which claimed that the rights activist was not shot.

On Tuesday, Abounu stated this on Sunrise Daily, a Channels Television program, monitored by Anaedoonline.ng.
