Some Igbo Youths in Nigeria and the Diaspora have petitioned the British High Commission in Abuja to open Nnamdi Kanu’s case file for Britain to investigate all the allegations against him over his incitement of violence in Nigeria by allegedly ordering his group, Eastern Security Network (ESN) to attack police and military personnel in the Southeastern part of Nigeria.

The police in Imo state have arrested a 40-year-old man, Uzoamaka Ugoanyanwu, said to be a infamous native doctor who allegedly prepares charms for members of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB and members of the Eastern Network Security, the security arm of the IPOB.

Former Nigeria President Olusegun Obasanjo has described calls for Nigeria’s disintegration by various groups as idiotic. The former President stated this in Abeokuta, Ogun State, at the luncheon and investiture of Kehinde Isijola as the new chairman of Nigerian Institution of Surveyor (NIS), Ogun State chapter, on Wednesday.
