A Corp member serving in Nnewi North Local Government Area, Anambra State, name identified as Okwandu Chinonso Chidozie, was on Tuesday, 15th June hit by a stray bullet which hit his leg. He was on a bike. On falling, he dislocated his elbow.
It was gathered that the incident took place at a location close to Coscharis Bus Stop where the vigilante group were randomly shooting when the stray bullet hit the victim.

He was quickly rushed to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi where he’s currently receiving treatment.
An eyewitness testified he was not the only one shot but the other victim remains unidentified as of the time of filing this report. The eyewitness also said that the vigilante team couldn’t give a good reason as to why they were shooting.
