The management of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri Imo state has issued out warnings to it’s students over the consumption of dry meat being sold by unverified dealers around the campus. The memo which was dated 23rd of June came after a school security official interrogated a dry meat seller on the quality of his product and asked him to taste the meat. But the seller refused to taste the product.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday allocated houses to the Super Eagles squad that won the African Cup of Nations in Tunis, Tunisia, in 1994. The spokesman of the President, Garba Shehu, in a statement, noted that the allocation of houses is in fulfilment of a promise made by the Federal Government.

One Ugochukwu Unadumene has been sentenced to life imprisonment without an option of fine by a Minna High Court for allegedly raping a female Youth Corps member in the forest in Agaie, Agaie local government area of Niger State.

On Thursday, 24th June 2021, Enyinnaya Abaribe, The minority leader in the Senate, denied the report that he was arrested by the Department of State Services. The lawmaker representing Abia South senatorial district described the reports on social media as false and should be disregarded.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has rewarded Nigeria’s only individual Olympics gold medallist Chioma Ajunwa with a three-bedroom flat. The Lagos State Governor on Thursday announced that Ajunwa – an Assistant Commissioner of Police – would get a three-bedroom flat at the Babatunde Raji Fashola Housing Estate, Iponri.
