JUST IN: Student Protesting, Shot Dead In Kaduna

KADUNA

At Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna state security operatives have shot a student of the Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya.

It was gathered that the deceased protested alongside his colleagues, who were protesting over a hike in school fees.

A further report revealed that the student was killed while security operatives attempted to disperse them forcefully.

One of the protesters who spoke on condition of anonymity with Daily Trust said they came out to protest over the increase of school fees in the state-owned institution when they met security operatives outside the college.
