Matawalle’s Defection: Two Other PDP Govs May Defect To APC – Deji Adeyanju

On Monday 28th June 2021, Deji Adeyanju, The Convener of Concerned Nigerian, noted that two other governors on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party may dump the party for the All Progressives Congress.

The activist alleged that the ruling party is currently in talks with the governors.

Adeyanju in a post on Twitter said the talks are part of a move to get the governors into defecting to APC before the party’s state congresses.

He wrote: “Zamfara Governor has defected to APC as I said. APC is still talking to two PDP Governors to see if they can defect before their state congresses so they hand over the party structures to them. I feel so much pity for Yari.”
