Southern Govs Reconvene In Lagos Today Over Insecurity, Restructuring

Southern governors will reportedly meet in Lagos today (Monday) for a meeting on insecurity.

Recall that they met in May in Asaba, Delta State, where they arrived at a 12-point resolution, including the ban of open grazing of cattle in the region, restructuring, creation of state police, and review of revenue allocation formula.

According to reports, today’s meeting will be hosted by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the State House, Alausa, Ikeja, with all the 17 governors from the region expected to be in attendance.
