BREAKING: Anambra’s Foremost Traditional Ruler Dies

Anambra’s foremost and one of the most educated Traditional rulers in Nigeria has died.

Anaedoonline.ng report that His Royal Highness, Igwe (Prof.) Augustine Ikechukwu Obiekezie, the Traditional Ruler of Adazi-Nnukwu, died on Wednesday, 7th July, 2021, after battles with Colon Cancer which started in 2019.

His death which was kept secret since Wednesday was made public this morning, by the President-General of Adazi-Nnukwu, Ichie Frank Madubuike.

Igwe (Prof.) Augustine Ikechukwu Obiekezie, who is popularly known as Adama Adazi-Nnukwu, was a former DV Academics at the University of Calabar.

According to Ichie Frank Madubuike, the family has formally notified the town of the development and further details will be released later in consultation with the State Government.15:19
