Nigerian singer and rapper Damini Ogulu professionally known as Burna Boy has said that the reason marijuana has not been legalized in Nigeria is because of the hypocrisy surrounding it.
In an interview with Home Grown Radio in Los Angeles the rapper said that everyone smokes weed in Nigeria but they pretend about it.
He said: “It’s just kind of hypocritical out there.
“They try to make it seem like if you smoke weed you’ll just go mad in Nigeria.

“Everybody smokes it. It’s just a topic no one wants to talk about.
“No one wants to talk about it; everybody is cool. Nobody wants to make it a thing to advocate for legalization of weed.”
The singer also added that he loves visiting Los Angeles because weed is legal and the best species can be gotten there.
Some Nigerians took to social media to react to the singer claim that everybody smokes weed and have condemned the statement.
