Nigerian Govt Launches Portal For Nigerians To Become House Owners (Apply Here)

The federal government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has unveiled fresh plans to provide housing to Nigerians.

The houses which include 1,2,3 bedroom flats and 1,2,3 bedroom semi-detached bungalows are available for mortgage under the National Housing Programme (NHP).

A statement made available to reporters on Friday by the government through the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing stated that application for the houses is open to all Nigerians.

The houses are currently available in 34 states of the federation and the FCT and prices range from N7.2m to N16.49m.

There are over 5,000 block units across the country available for interested Nigerians.

To be eligible to own a home, individuals must meet the following conditions.

– Be a Nigerian citizen.
– Be over 18 years of age.
– Have a valid national identity card.
– You must then complete your profile by submitting your personal details, housing preferences (the type of house you are applying for), etc.
– Show a reliable income.
