LATEST: RCCG City Of David Launches Online Dating Site

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, the City of David Parish have launched an online dating platform for mature singles.

This is coming after the pastor overseeing the parish, Idowu Iluyomade, disclosed at a forum that the platform would be launched.

Pastor Iluyomade while speaking at the forum called on single to interact and create an atmosphere that would allow them to make decisions for life partners.

The cleric had approached a young man identified as Deji to relate with single ladies and was pleased when the man stated that he was willing to marry.

How to go about his decision was the issue and this made the cleric promise that the church would open an online Christian dating site.

Iluyomade further stated that the site will be a platform for single men and women to connect.

He however said the people who connect have to do their due diligence.

When a single lady or young man registers on the site, the information would still have to be processed before approval.

The site has a disclaimer that reads in part, “Every registrant must conduct his or her own independent background check before connecting with another registrant on this platform. The Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David Parish makes no representations or warranties and expressly disclaims any and all liability concerning any damages sustained by any registrant as a result of connecting with anyone on this platform”
