The former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, on Thursday held a closed-door meeting with National leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja.
The team that visited the Chief Whip of the Senate was led by the National Secretary of the PDP, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, alongside other newly elected exco of the party.
It was gathered that Anyanwu and other officials of the party arrived at the resident of the lawmaker representing Abia North Senatorial District at precisely 12.28 pm.

The National Secretary of PDP and other leaders were welcomed by an associate of Kalu and was led straight to meet the Senate Chief Whip.
As the meeting commenced, other leaders of the main opposition party arrived in turn at Orji Uzor Kalu’s residence to join the meeting.
This is coming hours after former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim met with the former Governor of Abia State.
Anaedoonline.ng reports that the meeting was held at the Abuja residence of Kalu.
Although details were not disclosed, Orji Uzor Kalu announced the meeting in a post on his Facebook page.
