Residents of Nnewi in Anambra State were thrown into confusion as masked gunmen suspected to be enforcing the sit-at-home order were spotted around the town.
Anaedoonline.ng gathered that residents scampered for safety on sighting the gunmen who were heavily armed.

Although no casualty was recorded, the gunmen who moved around the town in Sienna vehicles warned residents not to come out from their houses.
Most junctions in Nnewi were blocked with used tyres to prevent any movement, although that was done by youths sympathetic to Nnamdi Kanu.
