An “illegal” mortuary has been raided by the chairman of Emuoha Local Government Area of Rivers state, Dr Chidi Lloyd, together with some security operatives in the state.
The morgue, located at Elele-Alimini General Hospital, was said to be used as a dump site for the bodies of dead kidnap victims.
Dr Lloyd, while speaking on the incident, expressed his disappointment over the inability of the leadership of the community to properly observe the trends in the locality.
The hospital was said to have been abandoned for a long period of time.
