BREAKING: Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyers Barred From Entering The Courtroom

On Wednesday, several of the attorneys for Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), were denied admission to the courtroom.

This is because the Department of State Services (DSS) ordered that only two attorneys be allowed into the courtroom during the resumed hearing of the Biafra agitator.

The secret police claim that their actions are in response to a mandate from the trial judge, Justice Binta Nyanko, who ordered that only two attorneys be allowed entry to the site while Nnamdi Kanu’s trial is ongoing.

Barrister Aloy Ejimakor and other attorneys who had come earlier before Kanu in court were halted at the court gate, according to news reports.

Only Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor and Mike Ozekhome (SAN) were cleared to enter the courtroom.

Anaedoonline.ng reports Kanu is facing charges brought against him by the Federal Government of Nigeria before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja.

The Biafra leader had previously pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him.
