LATEST: Kenya Govt Confirms Death Of Ambassador To Nigeria

The death of Kenya’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ambassador Wilfred Machage, has been announced by Kenya’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Machage fell at his Abuja home on Saturday, according to a statement on the Ministry’s website, and was transported to the hospital, where he died at 12.30 p.m.

“In January 2018, President Uhuru Kenyatta named Machage as Kenya’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, and he was also accredited to 12 additional nations in Central and Western Africa.”

“After this sad episode, he fainted at home and was confirmed dead at the hospital.”
