Following President Muhammadu Buhari’s consent, the governing All Progressives Congress, APC, has agreed to a change in the date of its national convention, according to Anaedoonline.ng.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, CECPC, chaired by Yobe State Governor Mai Bala Buni, met on Sunday night and decided to postpone the party’s national convention, which was previously slated for this Saturday.

The committee opted on a two-week delay, which may not have gone down well with other party stakeholders, who are clamoring for the convention to be held on February 26 as originally planned.
There are also indications that stakeholders settled for a postponement owing to logistic gaps in the convention planning.
