Is Nnamdi Kanu Dead or Alive As DSS Stop Lawyers, Family From Seeing Him

The Department of State Services (DSS) is apparently preventing Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), from visiting his family and attorneys, in violation of a court order.

This was revealed by Aloy Ejimakor, the special attorney for the imprisoned IPOB leader, in a tweet on his Twitter account on Monday.

Last Thursday, the secret police again stopped the attorneys from meeting with Kanu, according to him.

“ALERT: We were not permitted visitation with Onyendu last Thursday because, according to DSS, the “special squad” in charge of visitations went on “outside assignment,” Ejimakor wrote.
They invited us to visit on Monday (today).

“We’re at DSS today. They’re all saying the same thing to us. WE DON’T AGREE.”

Nnamdi Kanu’s brother, Emmanuel Prince, also posted on Facebook that he was refused access to the IPOB leader last Thursday and today, Monday.

He said that his brother was most likely in poor health, which was why DSS refused to let his family and attorneys visit him.

“On two different occasions, I was denied admission to visit Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (IPOB Leader) at the Department of State Security Services in Abuja.”

“It goes to show that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s life is in grave danger. It remains the order of the court that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (IPOB leader) must be seen twice weekly, Mondays and Thursday.

“Why can’t I see him? Has he been killed or poisoned? There must be proof of life. We demand proof of life”, he wrote.

Anaedoonline.ng reports that Justice Binta Nyako of a Federal High Court in Abuja had ordered that Nnamdi Kanu be granted access to his lawyers and family twice a week – Mondays and Thursdays.
