2023 Presidency: Atiku Tells Nigerians ‘This Is Their Last Chance’

Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate, has told Nigerians once again that his desire to be president stems from a desire to see the country prosper, rather than a personal agenda.

During a meeting with the party’s House of Representatives caucus in Abuja, the former Vice-President expressed his ambition for the country.

He remarked that it was critical for Nigerians to vote correctly in 2023 because electing the wrong leader would spell disaster.

As a result, he solicited Nigerians’ support for his 2023 ambitions.

“I recognize your enormous effect on our great party, and my appreciation for you is beyond measure,” he says.

That is why I have chosen you to be one of the first persons I would see to personally announce my decision to run for President of Nigeria in 2023.

“As a result, I respectfully introduce myself to you and ask for your assistance in helping our party gain the Presidential nomination.”

“I’ve worked at both the top and bottom of the corporate ladder. I guaranteed several progressive and national reforms, as well as constitutional legislation, as Vice President of Nigeria. As a businessman, I’ve solved local issues and created jobs for tens of thousands of people.

“This is the last chance for this country to get it right. Any failure to elect the right leaders now means Nigeria is doomed. That is why this election is not for us or our personal interest, it is about salvaging the country and I want to seek your support to help me do that.

“Nigerians are in desperate need of us and that is why we have to offer them the best. And this time more than ever before, we need a leader with versed experience who will fight for the people and a President who can bring this country together. I guarantee you that I have what it will take to be that kind of President. Therefore, I seek your support.”
