Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka said on Tuesday that Enugu Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is the country’s most peaceful governor.
Mbaka made the remarks during a courtesy visit to Enugu’s Government House.
The Governor’s Spiritual Director, who led a group of Red Star Belgrade and Antalyaspor football clubs from Serbia and Turkey to see him, remarked that peace is in the Governor’s nature and that “peace is in his integrity.”

“The delegation was football scouts from Turkey and Serbia who were planned to use Enugu State for their scouting operation,” the clergyman informed the governor.
According to him, “Among all the eastern governors, you (Ugwuanyi) are number one who don’t have any controversy. We respect you and respect Enugu State government. Here is a peaceful place, there is no problem of security here and the people of Enugu State love you”.
Responding, Ugwuanyi welcomed the delegation and assured them of the state’s support toward their endeavors.
“If our people are discovered, we will benefit a lot”, he said.
