“This is to advise you that I will be departing on a medical journey to the United Arab Emirates beginning today, February 28, 2022,” the letter stated. When I am released from the hospital, I will return to work.

“In my absence, I now delegate to you the duties of National Chairman of the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee.” This will allow the committee to complete all preparations for the national convention, which is scheduled for March 26, 2022, as well as any additional obligations that may be assigned to the office.

“I ask all members to work with Governor Abubakar Sani Bello by providing him with the same kind of support that I have received.”
