In order to prevent a breakdown of law and order, police operatives in Lagos State have taken over motor parks and garages throughout the state.

The directive was given by Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, during a press conference at the police headquarters in Ikeja on Thursday, according to Anaedoonline.ng.

The instruction comes after Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, the Lagos chapter head of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), was suspended indefinitely.

In a similar event, MC Oluomo and all members of the state’s union declared their departure from the national federation.
