Ambassador Ibrahim Musa Kazaure, a former minister of works, is among the Nigerian politicians who may need to be imprisoned for failing the country by embezzling public monies.

The former congressman remarked on a Radio France International show that all Nigerian politicians were the same, emphasizing that none had the people’s true interest at heart.

He said that he had requested President Muhammadu Buhari to arrest all politicians, including himself, who had embezzled state cash.

The ex-Minister, lamenting the country’s present economic situation, claimed that all Nigerians in public service since 1999 had done nothing.

“Even me talking to you, what we did to Nigeria, we ought to be locked up,” he continued.

“I, Ibrahim Musa Kazaure, used to argue that we had defrauded Nigeria and her impoverished people.

“We are all the same, in the end.” Because some of us had the chance and others did not, what we did during our time was not what we should have done.

“Only in Nigeria does the school system go on strike every now and then.” So, when are we going to progress? I’m not going to sit on any Nigerian seat again, even if they offer it to me for free.

“I challenge everyone in the country, even the president, go and check. I have spoken the truth. Whoever stole Nigeria’s money should return it. I told President Buhari that whoever stole should be arrested, including myself, we should return it if proven”.
