Willie Obiano, the governor of Anambra State, has removed all political appointments in his administration.
The Secretary to the State Government, Prof Solo Chukwulobelu, sent a message to all appointments informing them of the termination.

The document, which was obtained by Newsmen, asked all impacted individuals to turn up whatever state government property they may have.
“On or before Wednesday, such appointees should hand over government property in their hands,” he stated.
Obiano will leave office on Thursday, March 17, after serving in the state for eight years.
