Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a presidential contestant on the ruling All Progressives Congress’s platform, has taken a jab at other presidential aspirants (APC).
While Ebonyi State Governor Dave Umahi, Senate Chief Whip Orji Uzor Kalu, and other presidential contenders switched to the ruling APC, Tinubu maintained he stayed in the ruling party.
This was disclosed by the APC national leader at a meeting with the party’s Senate and House Representatives Caucus on Wednesday in the National Assembly.

According to the former Lagos governor, he has been consistent in his political career and in developing the ruling party, and it is now time to reap the benefits of his efforts.
Tinubu went on to say that he is the most competent and qualified candidate to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023, and he urged other contestants to back him.
“I am not here to be defensive; I am here to say, with humility, that I am one of the finest goods you can offer,” he remarked. There was no one else in the race, concealing or not. I am the only candidate in the campaign, whether hidden or out in the open, who is most skilled and qualified to be your President in 2023.
“First of all, I am the only one who has been through the tutelage, the turns and bends of the National Assembly. Where is that other person? None! I am the only one among them who has been consistently in one party to the other, building bridges. They are full of divorcees; they are not stable; some of them are rolling stones.
