‘094 set of Community Secondary School (CSS), Ichi in Anambra State, visited their alma mater on the 30th of march 2022 to support the ongoing project of the school.
Following the call from the management, the ‘094 set representatives led by Mr Onyekwelu Udeze ( Fmr President General Nnewi Youth) responded swiftly to the cry of the management in completing the ongoing project of plastering and painting of the school’s fence.
Udeze appreciated the principal for her good work and her zeal towards the school’s infrastructure, while recognising the building prowess of the principal and mentioned that the ‘094 set are keen to supporting and engraving their names in gold towards the school history.
Jude Chigbo Elohan(Mr) and Izunna Nzewi(Mr); both representatives of the set, also stated that they are willing to answer at all times to the call of the school needs.
However, the principal; Ndidi Uzor-Azudiugwu (Mrs), expressed profound joy as she passionately thanked the Old Boys for heeding to the school’s outcry and coming to their aid.
Speaking further, the principal sang the praise of the Old Boys, appreciating them for their goodwill.
Narrating the struggles faced while erecting the school dilapidated fence, she called on other set to step in and support the management in placing the school at a competitive point with other schools in the state.
In the presence of the school’s bursar; Umeama Amarachi (Mrs) and Ifeabuyke Gladys (Mrs); the school’s Guidance and Counsellor, the representatives of ‘094 set presented the sum of #200,000 cash to the principal in her office. This they said will help to fast track the building project as they intend to do more.
Meanwhile, Udeze added that he believed the ‘094 set will do more after their gathering holding in December 2022, he also called on other Old Boys of different set to remember their alma mater and give the school the standard it deserves.
